« on: March 29, 2012, 08:00:28 pm »

I got mine yesterday, managed to get through quite quickly & took advantage of the fact, to the brim.

Little extra weight, but a good 10-14 days supply. Agree with this talk about limiting, bit for everyone, but no mention of a strike.

Load of tosh!
Life used to be full of up's and downs....now i hardly ever get up a ladder :) .

Full £100 in today after queuing for half hour at morrisons.

The manager there was explaining how morrisons have their own tanker drivers anyway, who are not part of the planned strikes.

It does pee me off seeing little old ladies topping up their vauxhall corsas, probably enough fuel to last them til the next leap year.

i filled up because i needed to not because of this panic. But i will keep topped up now because if the strike goes ahead there will be chaos when everyone tries to stockpile and that will be worse than the actual strike!

I topped up.

The problem with panic buying is that once it starts you basically have no option but to join in or risk be left with nothing.

I was in tesco last night, and there was almost no milk left.  I lost count of the amount of trollies I saw with 4 or 5 big 6 pinters of milk in, so it looks like the panic buying is spreading to food now too.

UNITE have announced there will be no tanker strike over Easter.  Panic over.

Wish I'd owned a petrol station yesterday, they were making a killing!

they will have cost themselves money long term, as people buy sweets, fAgs and other stuff when they normally put there £20 of fuel in.

The good thing is monday when we go in there will be not many cars there :)
