Every thing went wrong.
« on: March 26, 2012, 03:11:51 pm »
Full of the joys of spring today. Nothing like a sunny warm day to get you ultramotivated in your window cleaning business.
It started around 11am when Sam rang me to say that the battery in his van was dead ( this had happened 6 months previously) so we get Green Flag out.
I thought it would be just like last time. They would get us going, no problem.
Sam text me to say it has been an hour already and Green Flag still had not turned up. He was understandably miffed and he was just sitting there. He was chomping at the bit to get on with the work I set him today.
To reassure him, I told him not to worry he is ( of course) still on the clock and I told him that "these things are set to test him". This was reference to his faith as he is in the Jovi Club ( how I call it)
We laughed at that and I carried on work.
Next thing is Green Flag turn up and tell us the battery has had it. The only place that had the battery we needed could not do the job till tomorrow afternoon.
I cant belive that nowhere in Leicester had this battery!!! Today!!!
Next my brand new hose split down the seams and expolded..........
Bloody hell! now I need to replace that - it was very expensive.
Still Im making calls to Sam backwards and forwards to see if we can sort out a battery today. I call 118 118 for Renault's number to see if they can help. 118 118 never sent me the free text I asked for so I had to ring them again.
They said they would send me a refund cheque for the call and that they would text me the number once again. Then my water ran out ( i misjudged the levels) and had to finish the job I was doing by hand.
I got a pounding headache because of the heat and stress. Green Flag said they had to go so I needed to make my mind up as to what I wanted to do.
There was one place that could of done a battery today but we needed an 850amp and they could not do that. Agggh lol

Its all over now- I came home. The manaufacturers are sending me new hose pipe, the battery is getting fixed tomorrow, I have sorted an alternative for Sam so he can still work tomorrow and I thought sod it - I treated myself to two new 18ft CL-X poles.

Plus the first 118 118 text came through lol and they still sending me a cheque.

Phewwwwww.

It's ok at times unknowingly things get out of control but then you can always sort them out.
