Ive got a big job comming up, ive cleaned it before. Although id cleaned up with pole it didnt come up that well, think they were expecting it to come up like new.

Being closer to the job i used some solvent and rubbed it with a cloth and it did bring up well, but that was dont by hand, its a huge job we'd be there for weeks doing little sections like that!

Anyone reccomend anything. Thanks

Try virasol and pick up a pump action spray container like what the professional gardeners use, 10 - 1 mix with water, spray on leave for 5 mins then scrub and rinse off, I done a large house with upvc cladding on upper half and this worked for me,hope this helps.

People keep mentioning garden sprayers, but if you have one just use a backpack with pole and fanjet brush to apply the chemicals alot faster and easier. Its what i do anyway.

TFR traffic film remover is the way forward mate get it from any janitorial place i have used it bundles of times cleaning facias and its brings it up like brand new, discovered it when i had a hand car wash its wot we used too spray on the wheels too get them buggers clean hope that helps mate it deof did me

hand pump sprayer Matt, go to b&q get a hand  pump sprayer us an old harris pole and some 5mm tube from b&q to attach it to, hand pump it on and wash it off.

Matt - cladding is very straightforward to clean altho if it's really in ground then you would have to do it by hand

TFR or virosol will help no end -  if you have a trolley or backpack i would fill this with a strong mix of above and scrub from the top (you dont need to do all of the job this way as the mix will run down the cladding) - when empty change over to fresh water and continue.

if you have a van set up make yourself a barrel of mix - connect it to the pump and use that and then return to tank water

OR 

buy an line soap dispenser but they work better with washing up liquid rather than tfr etc..

Got it and done it.

Possibly not best pics but took a few snaps, came up amazing and guys TFR is amazing, where has it been all my life. You can kind of see the before and after lines, but camera hasnt caught it that well. Looked impressive there though, they were pleased to.













And oh my i didnt know TFR did frames too!

Am I being thick? Did you use poles and brushes from the ground or from a platform - and if so who manned the platform?

Siroflex is the best solvent cleaner I've found for UPVC. They also do a cream cleaner but haven't tried that.

I guess it depends what you need to clean off. Solvent is overkill for general cleaning and will take way longer than a water based cleaner diluted in a bucket and liberally applied n dried.

Gold i was up the picker with a porcipine applicator, tfr in a bucket and a pole with water to wash it down.

It needed a good scrub, i dont think it would of worked just poling it even with tfr.
