So I have recently changed over to do all upper windows WFP. I have a Window Cleaning Warehouse backpack and a CLX 27.

So far enjoying not using the ladders but have a few minor niggles that im sure I will sort out with a bit more experience but thought I'd ask for some advice too.

I noticed one of the windows I cleaned today it seemed like there were drips inside  I could tell they were inside as when I was moving the brush up and down the drips weren't moving. It was a big window were there was a horizontal bead in between the two sections so I presume water has got through there. I had my flow on high and scrubbed and rinsed all over. I think I should of turned the water off while I was cleaning the inside bead and frame, would that be better next time?

Another question; when cleaning the sills do you have the flow on high like when cleaning glass and frames or clean the sill with the water off but damp brush as the windows were all still dripping when I got round to doing the lower windows trad?

It happens now and again but is very rare i would say its more a problem with their windows than your wfp. I have the flow rate up high for everything.

Would you suggest doing those windows trad? Dont really fancy getting the ladders off as the ground is dodgy on that house!!

Also was thinking of getting an aquadaptor to help with these windows so I can easily turn the water off when cleaning in the area where I think its leaking?

happens occasionally if customer mentions it i  just apologise saying i probably
had flow up too high just remember next time to turn flow down for that particular window

you will have a few niggles for a while but you soon work your way round them,for example
on a couple of houses on my round i have the odd window that spots no matter what i do
luckily they are ground floor and i just blade water off when i have finshed

dont let it bother you after a few months you will be flying round taking all these little
niggles in your stride

I have several on my rounds the usual culprits are bad seals or warped frames

when i remember i clean these windows by a quick squirt of water - then scrub over with brush ( no water ) then a very very quick rinse - it keeps any leaks to a minimum - when i forget the custy gets a free inside clean 
none have ever complained ( as yet ) - just be sensable in your approach.

1st cleans are always scrubbed with water on - thereafter with water off.

as said over the next year you'll encounter many many problems and situations - all can be overcome !

Cheers for the replies lads will go easy on those windows next will just squirt a bit then scrub with water off then rinse lightly.
