Just had a notification for 10 windows cleaned for £15 on Group On.

They claim to treat windows using a secret ingredient that keeps them "cleaner for longer"

Weirdly this is a company that normally renovates houses, things must be slow in that sort of work.

10 windows cleaned with less than 1 litre of water and they stay clean for up to 1 year they claim.

Load of rubbish imo.

The Trading Standards people have given Groupon 3 months to clean up their act.

Included in the changes Groupon need to make is about the honesty of their customers adverts.

It will be a window treatment similar to rain x, there are a few on the market... Dont know if they work or not as never had any experience on windows, spoke to a few people who use it on cars and they reckon they dont have to use their wipers most of the time.... Not convinced though...

There's a new window stuff like rain off called dux, ducx or something similar.

I do the windows of a Halfords Auto Centre and they can put this stuff on the car windscreen for customers. It supposed to last a year. They done one of the show room windows with it. When I do the windows, it looks just as dirty as all the others.

It's about £30 for a small sachet which is enough to do one windscreen.
