Damaging customers property .. updated..
« on: March 17, 2012, 09:07:40 am »
Reversed into a customers lampost earlier this week.

Knocked on door to explain but no one in so went to their office a few miles down road and held my hands up  ::)

Apologised and told them I would sort it out ... thanked me for my honesty and we all had a laugh about it.

Rekon Im looking at about £200 to £400 to sort out but in fairness bloke said he will see if just a base section can be bought.

Prob stick it thru my PL insurance if it covers it once I know how much it will be.

You could try one of these: http://tinyurl.com/7qe9lne

That's a bad 'un, but all credit for admitting it.  Karma will win out, I don't doubt.

that or get reversing sensors.....save u doing it again. well done for coming clean, always worth being honest. will public liability help if you were in van, would have thought vehicle insurance would have been way to go if too expensive.

that and price increase for customer :)

lucky light didn't hit a car or go thru window tho!

Karma will win out, I don't doubt.

Karma means action (including mental actions), and it's linked to intention; it's more of a psychological tool than some cosmic force of justice.

Jus' sayin'. ;D

I  knocked the LMB of a satellite, so i found a dead pigeon and placed it under the satellite dish on floor,so they think the pigeon  flew into it.

I thought of that but a dead ostrich was a little tricky to find at short notice - now if I'd had a day or two ...
