advice needed please on how to get makeup off a leather suit

Hi Bill,
      If the suite is a protected leather, which 85% of leather suites are,you may during cleaning remove the finish. The finish is 90% polyurethane and 10%plasticisers and oil based makeup may penetrate this: use of a solvent to remove the makeup can take the finish away.
      If by chance the makeup is not oil based use a foam leather cleaner, followed by protection cream.
