Hi,

i have a small leak on the clutch fluid, ...i know i know ... take it to a garage , but they all closed so i will grab some expertise from you guys 

could it be a pipe in the engine?or is it something i cant fix, like a master cylinder leak?

also can any of you guys fix anything like this , or how much do you think i am looking at?

Its a transit 2006 swb t260 2.0td,

and its for sale, i could drop the price or get it fixed, what do you think?

going ?
losing fluid is normally a sign

Its the slave cylinder, do you lose the clutch pedal if you leave it in gear?
I have just had mine done today by ford and new disc pads. You are probably looking at around (if its that) £350 for the part and the labour.

Yes i did lose the clutch, then i filled it up and now its fine , but a small leak.

the fluid leaks thru the gearbox
when you brake the fluid will be taken for
the brakes the clutch also uses the fluid
but while braking the clutch will be starved of fluid

Yes mate all being done at Odiham (main dealer).

 Is that really correct?  I think you are getting very confused.

 I have never heard or seen a vehicle that uses the same fluid for brakes and clutch, they are both a completely seperate system. Ford would not risk your clutch leakinbg fluid and leaving you with no brakes.

I have don mine also ford but leaked on floor mat inside( master clutch cylinder). Part was 70 quid but got one off e bay for 30 took me 1 hour with the help of the internet. I am no mechanic but repair all probs my self. Save money.
