been asked to sub contract and provide a quote for seven industrial units for cladding and window cleaning prob 150 windows but there must be over 10,000sq metres of metal cladding to be cleaned maybe more ive not done proper sums yets,each unit varies in size average size is 60m x 40m with height of 7m the job requests using waterfed pole to clean,

what sort of prices would people go in at per metre square,its not the dirtiest job ever rubbed my finger over it on lower stuff and ya finger goes black with dust n dirt but higher level look bit more grimy nothing major.

any ideas on prices please

I would have thought on that amount 25-50p per M2 otherwise work on your day rate. probably 12 days work .

We pressure washed a 10 000sqm car park in four days, x 5 men, two weeks ago. Same principle. I didn't go in at 25 - 50 pence per metre.

I could probably clean cladding quicker!!!!

rob what sort of time scale do you think this type of cladding could be cleaned what sort of figure would you have in mind

It is difficult to say without seeing the buildings, any obstacles, problems etc but if a two man team can't knock one of them out in a day then I would be surprised.

If we are talking two sides at 60 metres and two sides at 40 metres @ 7 metres high then you have 1400 sqm per building, if my maths is correct.

Would need to see them to give you a price and I would never give a price on here, happy to email or discuss on phone.

Hi rich I have cleaned quite a few units like this,on what you've said I would have thought about 4 days work for 2 men,I would be looking to charge around £1750 that would inc the windows as well,breaking it down would be about 16p a meter plus £150 for windows cheers dale.

I outsourced a great deal of work last year and already have a large invoice to pay for works so far this year.

My works are different to most people on here in that they are multiple services, multiple locations and multiple locations at the same time!!!

They are always away from home, involve a great deal of management & waiting to be paid, many many nights in hotels and an incredible fuel bill every year.

M clean if you have any work in Yorkshire and the Midlands we would be interested we have cscs ipaf and recentley gained smas for construction site work
We are base in rotherham and have a putzmeister 50th hot pressure washer and a smaller diesel unit.
We have over 25 yrs  constuction site experience.
