this isnt cleaning related, but I thought I would impart some good vibes

After a right soaking yesterday,I wasnt looking forward to a repeat performance today.When I threw open the curtains this morning, the sun was out already(yeh I  know, a bit of a lie in compared with you early birds!)So loaded up the van with the jetwash,got the two dogs installed and off out the door.Job done in nice quick time and a good clean and happy customer.Turn the van for home to meet up with the boys on window cleaning duty but took a small detour instead.Found a nice little nature reserve(near the M20) and let the dogs out for a call of nature.Turned into a 40 min stroll through some lovely sunlit woods.Birds were singing,sun was shining amd some nice spring blooms poking their heads through the forest floor.The dogs dont care what the weather is,what mood Im in,wether the bills are paid or not.They just like being out with me
Made me totally switch off from the hassle of the everyday, a small time of peace and solitude in a very busy week.
I know its not possible to do this every day for every one, but this works for me and I wouldnt change what I do for all the tea in China.
Me, my dogs and the English countryside- if someone can tell me that there is anything better in life,well.....

I take my dog to work with me as well. During abreak yesterday we went to Donnington Castle and today a awim in the canal. Him, not me!

We are lucky enough to be near the coast- so sometimes im in as well!!provided im not too close to the local nuclear power station- third nipple and all that

Absolutely fantastic Roy,  we should practice this every day of the year, this way we wont allow any daily negativity bother us at all . Try it and you will see the good result.

I live on the south coast in Brighton and when those south westerly gales hit during the spring and autumn, there's no better place to be than watching a storm ravaged sea battering the cliffs. On those days, if the high tide is during the working day, work can go to hell.

There's so much around us in nature to appreciate and enjoy. I don't know how so many people seem to miss it and prefer the tv instead.

Me and my missus do the same.During the last storms in december,we went down to Dungeness(by the power station) and the sea was absolutely boiling, it was a great sight.We got soaked but the local pub(the Pilot) has the best fish and chips in the world(landed that day by the small fleet there) and they serve Adnams Broadside as well,so thats reason enough to go on its own
We also go down to watch the dolphins off the beach catching fish in the warm water from the plant- but i cant help thinking of the three eyed fish from the Simpsons when I see them             Smithers!!!
