Ionics logo.
« on: March 08, 2012, 04:23:43 pm »
I've seen a few vans locally with Ionics Reach and Wash logo splashed over their vans etc.
Just curious as to wether this is still allowed or not. If it is then I'm going to put it on my next new van!!

you are not alowed and never have been unless you have their system in the van.

even if you buy from their sister company pure 2o you are still not alowed.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Much as I like Gardiners products I see no good reason to put one of their stickers on my van to advertize their company. If I did, they should pay me.

Couldn't agree more.

Why give another company free advertising? Would they return the favour?

I doubt it!

I totally agree with DD & Jackel, what the hell is the point of having either Ionics Logo or Gardiners Poles on the side of your van?

Firstly, if I did as previously mentioned I would want paying to do so in a form of sponsorship, free poles or systems. They dont advertise for me??? And I use Gardiners Pole!!

Secondly, who the hell would want a picture on their van that says nothing? Ionics Logo looks like a cartoon man running, carrying a stick! Its a crap Logo and very badly designed, in my humble opinion! Its Rubbish, any windy that uses that just show a lack of imagination and drive! it does absolutely nothing to advertise Window Cleaning to the average Jo soap in the street! The only people that actually know what that logo is, is us Window Cleaners!

Thirdly, Mrs Jo Soap who wants her windows cleaned doesn't care if you use Gardiners or Ionics products, they just want their windows to shine! She will go with Price and professionalism over product everytime!

Anyway thats my two peneth worth and rant over, just to keep you going heres a picture of a cartoon man running with a stick........ LOL....

Everyone seems to have missed the more serious issue here: Gardiners seem to have stopped doing their pens. Perhaps Alex is designing a sl lightweight range to reduce strain issues when writing out bills.

There is loads of vans with the Reach & Wash logo,I even see them on Ebay now and then and every one of them have a DIY system inside,it's funny bacause I know of numerous window cleaners that have systems fitted by Ionics but don't have the logo on their van yet the ones that do have the logo on don't have their system ???
