Carpet Cleaning Machines?!?
« on: March 07, 2012, 02:22:32 pm »
Hi all, I am looking to buy in the near future a heavy duty carpet cleaning machine for commercial use.   Can anyone reccomend any particular makes or models? We dont really have a budget we just need the best machine at the lowest price. you may of guessed we are new to carpet cleaning but we need to become experts pretty quick as we've just been awarded a large contract that starts next month. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

First of all. A LARGE CONTRACT WITH NO KNOWLEDGE!! Sounds like a disaster to me.

The best machine?? We all have our preferences so you could get 10 different answers. I know it's no help but it's the truth..

Also, having the best equipment is not going to make you an expert, EXPERTS in this game have been in it for a long time and have vast amounts of training and on the job experience.

You need to get some training. My suggestion would be a course AND on the job training with one of the experienced guys about 20-30 miles from you!!

Hope this helps!!

If it's low profile carpets, I'd suggest going down the LM (Low Moisture) route. The chemical I have had success with
is called Fusion.

As for the machine, J Lawal and a few other guys on here are masters of LM and could point you in the right direction..

This forum has a lot of good carpet cleaners why dont you sub it on the understanding you can
go along and work with them until you are up to speed IMO the best machine is hydramasters titan
