If your cleaning and you have open upstairs windows what do you do?

Push them shut with the brush,

push it closed with your pole and brush but be careful not to break the glass. if it s too stiff then clean it carefully trying not to drench the room 9 times out of ten they will close but occasionally they are too stiff to close

Be careful not to break your pole. I have broken mine doing this. If I get resistance now I just clean them open..... Carefully.

I have a few custys that live in 3 storey town houses, that have sash windows, and  often leave the lower sash open, so i txt the night before asking to ensure all windiws are closed

i have washed a sash window before while the bottom was open i wont do that again i hope lol i couldnt see from the ground , i put the brush where i thought the glass was and realised it was open must of got it pretty wet inside no complaints luckily . at the time i thought theres bound to be a laptop / tv or something that could do without water on it

Be careful not to push too hard as some may have a cheap security stay and these break very easily especially if only one side has a stay (it happened too me).
It is easy enough to clean an opened window, just be careful where the water is directed.
