YOU'VE SCRATCHED MY SILLS!!
« on: March 02, 2012, 09:50:40 pm »
Said a (former)customer today.  I had a look and they were slightly marked, I went at them with cif and a microfibre and the marks are still slightly visible.

The dragon lady was not atall happy, she'd made her mind up before I arrived that I was getting sacked, she even refused payment for this time and last because of "the deep gouges" in the sills...my arrse!

This is the first clean since the price rise(first in 3 years), 5 months since I started the round.

My question is...what's the best product to remove these black brush head scuffs?

Thanks in anticipation, Simon :)

it does work, but it also takes off the coating meaning it will get dirtier a load quicker.

use a spirit based product and nothing that will scratch the surface

i cant add anything about the uPVC cleaners, but i would say that if you get yourself a gardiners Super-Lite Radius-Sill Brush you are a lot less likely to scratch anything.  the brush stock on them is so small and light that its pretty difficult to scratch, or even touvh the sills with them...  unlike when we were using vikam brushes... >:(
