I agree with the previous posters about most everything they said.
The higher the vac; the more she'll scream.
The lips do dislodge.
The metal does catch fabric.
It's a pain in the rear end to remove all those small nuts, blots and washers & then put them back together again.
HOWEVER, I FIXED MINE REAL EASY.

No more problems after this one simple fix.

I sold it to someone that wanted one, even after I told him about all the problems.

I then bought a Sapphire Scientific and a few months later, bought a HydroKinetic.
I must admit, I do prefer the HK over the SS AFTER getting used to it.
That took me about two cushions.

Everyone will have a different opinion, in my view, upholstery tools are personal.

I also carry in my van as well as the above two, a Rotovac Dome tool, mainly for mattresses, office partitions and large cushions.
When working at home, I keep the original DryMaster for rug fringe flushing.
