buy some cheap rubber gloves and wear the throwaway surgical type gloves underneath them.your hands will be warm,dry and clean and very hygienic esp with all the handling of hoses during our working day.ive got the showa 377 gloves with the glove liners from gardiners(100 for under a fiver).they work well.hands are great now.no cuts and rough edges.
