I'm getting some tfr today for a gutter clean Monday,do I just put some in bucket dip brush in and brush all over gutters,then leave for a while and brush off with waterfed pole,no diluting etc,also will the brush wash out after so I can clean windows again?

nar mate dilute it and spray it on with a little hand held sprayer from b&q or somthing, i dont think is use it neat mate

apologies for jumping in........but you've got your answer magic so move over! 

does these chemicals leave residue on brush afterwards? we had customer yesterday and 1 window was nightmare, drying all streaky, and this got onto brush and her other windows. must have been cleaning it with some sort of rubbish. had to scrub with soap to get it clean again. just wondered if tfr/virisol etc might do same.

Lol I did ask if It would wash off the brush also what if tfr spray gets on windows will it clean ok?

I think most people on here use a diffrent brush to clean fascias etc .the reason they do it is to not contaminate the brush they use for cleaning windows leaving the brush clean.

Another helpfull tip,
When youve finished washing down the gutters/fascias, tie an old scrim around your brush and dry all,
Gets all the drips off and leaves a better finish

i use same brush on windows and pvc no worries mate

okay  dokey - if your gonna use TRF make sure it's non caustic dilute to at least 25 to1 ( cheap brand ) or 50 to 1 for a quality brand - spray on with hand held plant sprayer - be warned if it dries before you wash it will leave marks on glass !! so only do a small section at a time ( or wet all the windows first )

Virosol is much better - it cleans quicker - leaves a better shine and if it does dry on glass does not react badly to wfp it simply soaps up and cleans - leaving glass sparkling and spot free.

with both i found there was never an issue with the chemical being left in the bristles & i've always used the same brush head for conny roof/gutters etc as for windows

So if I give the windows a wet first,that will prevent stocking to the glass as thats the last thing I want.

I have tfr now,and have been told its more then capable so will have to do.

I've used both and virosol is way better - I've never been back to a house a month later and seen any probs of any kind

Should be fine magic just rinse brush with plenty off water and dilute tfr about 25 to 1

Dont need to clean the brush if you use the better product

I USE VIROSOL REGULAR.
i spray direct onto surfaces needed then use regular brush ( medium sill by the way ) on hot wash.
after ive used it on virosol jobs i wash thorough under tap and then fill unger bucket with pure water, release gooseneck clamp and leave to soak for a bit in pure.

IMHO , virosol is the daddy for cleaning whites.
