Do any of you have a basic pricing structure that you put on your advertising material?

semi detached house (all windows) from £15
detached house from (all windows) from £20

* Note £10 min charge for front windows* (based on typical sized property, cleaned on a monthly basis)

what's that lee people expect to pay that exact price even if they have conservatory and basically more windows than average?

Could put people off but maybe the right people off (messers)

I find the first words out of anyone who asks me is how much then how often.

I think i'l do what johnny did and just knock only give leaflets to not ins, give bus card to ones i price that are in with price written on back of card fill other one for me.

Just got to build up the courage to door knock (like the lion out of wizard of oz need courage; maybe brains too ;D)

Lee credit where credits due. Your pricing structure did get me thinking. The thing I was thinking though is having some sort of enquiry form on my website so that people could fill in how many ground floor windows, first floor etc..

Then it could calculate a price from that then have a box for conservatory windows =£x per window. I don't think I'd sho people how much I charge per window, just the end total. I would also like to have ways of paying me over my website. I know a local firm who do leafleting, I was thinking of saying to them I would do you windows if you deliver a few thousand leaflets for me each month. On top of which I could maybe pay for some to be delivered.

Competitors know your prices and can undercut by a £ or 2 and still make money and take custies id of thought is no1 problem
