I have a book with all my work in it. I only have name and price as i know address's, that way if i loose it no one will know where the customers are (address's)

I just write start miles, end miles, date and if i have been anywhere other than my round like a quote or to the bank.

Every couple of months i tap it in to a spreadsheet
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Just business miles, but if you use your family car for a visit to your accountant or anything to do with the business.
That can be put in your book at 0.42p per mile..
