Blower vac

Just wondering if a blower vac petrol engine would work as a gutter vac. As you would'nt need to lug around a generator for when a customer is out and  they are pretty heavy and take up a lot of space. Obviously using the vacuum not the blower. Do you think it would work. Too tight to pay out lots of money.
