So since this time last week I decided to get more details about the:-

Hyundai iload
Fiat Scudo
VW Transporter

You'd think that salespeople would be falling over themselves but catch this:-

email Hyundai
Get reply and am going to look at one tomorrow - BUT ... none in the country until May .... same story from three dealerships. Am I interested in a demonstrator etc ...

Well possibly.

email VW Commercial - get brochure - phone to "book a test drive" - automated answering - will ring me back ... no reply - tumbleweed.

email local VW "stealership" - no response

email VANS DIRECT (got my Doblo from them in 2006) - no response

Look up Fiat Commercial and get two stealerships in Bristol - phone both - no longer doing vans ....

So here I sit with good credit waiting for some salesperson to massage a five figure sum from my sweaty control and .... nuthin'!

It's a game of three halves!

I've had exactly the same thing. I want to buy a Vivaro. I've been to several main dealerships and also, amongst others, Vans Direct.

Vans Direct seemed only interested in selling me a VW Caddy for some strange reason despite me saying I don't want one.

I went to Frosts (in Shoreham, East Sussex), spoke to the bloke, looked at a van, said it's what I wanted, he was all over the moon, said he'd phone me, I phoned back maybe half a dozen times but no return phone call. My last phone call to his voice mail was to 'stick it up your ...........backside'.

Other companies also seem uninterested. I can pay cash if they want but .........

Is there a reason we don't know about?
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I need to replace some of our vans and have been looking around, now I can't get the citroen dealer off the phone, literally phones me every couple of days telling me what they have in stock.

Going by your track record of vans, you'd be the last person I'd take advice from!  ;D

Why not look at citroen or peugeot if fiat don't get back to you. Expert and dispatch same as scudo (i know the engine is different on the fiat but in my experience 2.0hdi dispatch is good van)

Well. I've been and done it - bought an iload,

But ... it's three months wait! So I'll soldier on with Doblo and trailer for now.
