If you have quite a few solar cleans & you price them well - then you can justify the increase in insurance.To me .. It's a no brainier when it comes to insurance, these things are v.costly
I got talking to some guys fitting solar pannels a week or so ago about cleaning them. They told me they are sold as self cleaning (like self cleaning windows) but told me they would need cleaning every few years really. The boss said that wfp would be ideal for cleaning and that as they are outdoors then they are completley waterproof. He did make a point of saying that damage could cost thousands so told me to make sure i had cover for solar pannels in particular.
