what colour does charger go when fully charged  is it red or green.         before i plug charger in to backpack its green.     when its connected it goes red   it may already be charged      the pump comes on when turned on but i dont know how much its charged up,   i would like to charge it up fully.

Hi,

Did this get sorted?

I have one of these and have just come to charge it for the first time after a few hrs use from new and the light on the charge has gone straight to green on plugging into the back pack,

Is this correct?

Thanks in advance,

Dean.

Do they come already charged?

I've taken the screws out and the battery is connected???

Madness.

It hadn't actually ran flat and when I said previously I'd used it for a few hrs it was probably a lot less than that thinking about it. In total probably less than 30 mins cleaning.

Cheers again,

Dean.

might be easier just to nip down to screwfix and pick up one of these bad boys.

when i got one, I just took out the screws took out casing took out the battery and charged it direct, the problem with these back packs is they are imoprted from china and banged about, the connectors can fall off inside they are very cheaply made, but they do last a good while.

Once I did this and reconnected not a problem.

They are usually charged already when you get them, and the battery lasts for days.

The battery meter only works when the unit its on, showing green being charged and red needing charging.

Made in China?  I would think so, as if they were made here they would be 4 times the price, lol.

I just received the same back pack from WCW. I switched on and it ran ok. Plugged in charger and lit up red when switched on at mains it went green. needle shooting over into red when switched on .also does anyone know best way to fit hozelock connector. do I take off the  original pipe at pump or get a reducer and cut the pipe supplied..ta
