Caught a customer out...
« on: February 08, 2012, 06:01:53 pm »
This made me laugh yesterday...  ;D

Got pulled over by the local 60 year old window cleaner, who I must add is an absolute legend, out working all day every day, what ever the weather, hes out there.
He is a one man band, so any work he gets that is to big for him, or just any stuff he cant be assed with, he will always pass on to me, free of charge, legend  :)

So, he waves me down in the high St and says he had a phone call from a lady and could I go down and do it....

Turns out this address is one of my customers, and has been for the last 3 years ish.  ;D

I must admit its priced to high, but I wouldnt do it for any less as its a nightmare.

Might go round there tomorrow as windows are due and see what the crack is... ;D

To be honest, its a good excuse for me to stop going there. I charge her £25, when its only a £15 house, so dont blame her for trying to get someone else  ;D

(Before anyone pipes up about me 'ripping her off', she didnt have to accept my quote in the first place)

fair play to you if you can get those prices, but you cant blame her for getting another quote,
