Vivaro, Trafic etc Info wanted?
« on: February 07, 2012, 11:09:21 am »
I'm thinking about trading my connect in for Vivaro, Trafic etc. But I've heard mixed views about them. Someone on here claimed that the gearboxs don't last as long as they should. So a positive and negative answer would be good from peeps that have had experience with them etc.

A mixed response so far then!! It seems the ones pre 2006 are the ones to avoid then. Cheers to all who have responded so far.

Never had a thing go wrong, and not spent a penny on it apart from service's.
Very good van i.m.o but as with everything sometimes you will get a 'pup'!

The 2.0 Diesels ones are the best, it will have had most of the "issues" sorted out and be a facelift so look better imo

The van is only as good as its been treated by previous owners

Vivaro, trafic or primastar it doesnt matter which you get they are all the exact same besides a grill and different shaped headlights. Have a look under the bonnet every part will be stamped with a nice little renault badge just to make you feel that little better  :o :'( :'( :'(
