Well impressed, I've spent a fair shedload of the last 24 hours putting all my round details in to this cloud based piece of software.

Well impressed, particularly like the invoicing for each customer, looks very professional, sure that'll help the cashflow and most definately the round organisation.

Is there any functionality if you don't have an online connection?  What I mean is do you have any software running at your end that will allow you to keep things updated when out of reach and that synchronises once you're back online?

No, it doesnt look thats the case. But I have never updated my previous record system on-site, I always do it sat at home where there is an internet connection anyway. Saying that, I accessed Aworka's server on a 2G connection in the doctors surgery this morning , albeit slowly.

I have signed up for 6 week trial. Virtually same product. Can see how would be useful if you had a small fleet to organise, with drivers and staff up and down country. But whilst one van, George is fine.

Am trialing it myself at the moment. I like the option to be able to stick a job in on the spot when i quote it rather than having to carry my netbook & dongle everywhere with me. Or if a customer rings asking something while im out i dont have to remember to check when i get home and ring back.

Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

I like the look of Aworks, the interface is aesthetically pleasing  ;D

whereas George looks like it's off the Ark. It strikes me being something akin to an Austin Healy.

a few months ago aworka was only a baby, and like george in its early days, it didn't have everything that we normal geoge users are use to.

but just like george, aworka is growing and being upgraded all the time.

while I have always used george and will continue to use it as my main round programme, I do like the aworka programme

What I found was when I am out and the phone rings, if I need to access george for any information it took forever to start up my computer or laptop/netbook.

with aworka, I am normally online within seconds, what would be good was if both programmes george and aworka could sync together at the end of the day.
