marble tile problem
« on: February 06, 2012, 07:16:11 pm »

Hi guys please could anybody advise me in what this strange mark could be its behind the toilet and wether it can be sorted out or not ...There have been no leaks from toilet and also its only in this localised area so can probably rule out urine marks aswell as it would be all the way around the pan ..

Any help will be appreciated Cheers Craig

looks like its been caused by the same stuff on the soil pipe and also on the wall grout.

does it feel rough to the touch indicating it is an etch mark, do they have a toilet brush in that area that could be leaking.

Craig

It looks like Nero Maquina Marble that's acid etched.  Polish it with some diamond pads and run it up through the grits then finish it with Aqua Mix Renue Marble Cream
