Only did two jobs on a main road today. All the side roads still bad around Basildon.

Had to climb onto a recycling bin and then over the fence-not advised! If I'd thought about it before I'd left indefinitely wouldn't have done it.

Catch up tomorrow me thinks. Most snow has turned to slush so should be ok by mid morning

It was lovely in South East Wales; I got so warm at one point I had to take my jacket off.

No snow left here.  ;D

Ditto ...

Of course it was even warmer my side of the river!  ;D
It's a game of three halves!

The southwest is the place to live right now; you hard buggars can keep your snow and ice; I hate the stuff.

No heaters in the van over night, no cold hands, no woolie hats; just like summer.

And long may it last!!!!!

Yes lovely day in devon today! :)

Day off today and tomorow and about a week behind coz of freezing windows last week and rain and wind in jan. Custys understand tho and as I say to them I can come but if my ladder slips and hits your car. They see sense then. As someone previously said best be safe and a week behind then 6 weeks behind with a broken ankle or arm or at worst laid off for longer.

I didnt work Monday as my old army unit was marching out of its barracks and I got an invite to attend. They had been there since the 1800's and now the lease has expired the MOD have moved them to Woolwich.
Up at 04.30 and train to London. My wife said 'if you dont go you'll regret it' and I would have done. Splendid day, saw old mates and the local area of St. Johns Wood laid on a brilliant farewell with thousands lining the high street. Ended up with a Royal Salute in Hyde Park.
I clean the Commanding Officers windows!
Back to work today!
