Warm Quality Work Socks Advice Needed
« on: February 03, 2012, 06:01:06 pm »
I have written in before about good quality, warm socks for
The cold winter months.
The next best thing to ask really is how long would ya say
A pair of so called warm quality socks should last before
Ya toes start poking out the ends ?
I am allowing for nails being kept cut and trimmed.
Each pair being worn say 3 days per week,12 hours per day

P.S.
This sock business is getting on my wick ! >:(

P.P.S.
Just like like trainers for work,I`m paying decent money for
Poor quality stuff,I`m convinced on it ! :'( :-\

Ok,

here  is the plan:

1: Go and buy a good pair of boots, 1/2 size too big.
2: Bulk buy three packs of black cotton socks.
3: Put four socks on each foot, and add boot.
4: For the ocd, who are worried about toenails, simply rotate the socks using a different sock on the inside each time you change them.

I was wondering about asking you guys which way round I should be wearing my underpants, as I seem to be a bit vexed at the moment.

Any tips welcome.
if it is dirty it is fair game

I used to suffer with cold feet badly until i started to wear my police boots (magnum) for window cleaning. Even in the harshest of conditions with normal socks on my feet are always nice and toastie now.
