Sorry about the obvious
« on: February 03, 2012, 09:35:27 am »
In the harsh winter like now the main reason we still can go to work with wfp is simple but a lot of folk don't realise the obvious, me to until told.

Mŷ hose reel and manifold and a choice of pole, I take a 30 ft, and place all three in the house over night, my reel can quickly be replaced and clamped bk down, connection of the manifold hose is seconds and the pole speaks for it self

And off to work we go, we have a 1000 lt tank in the vans and no way will you get a ice cube that big, it would have to minus 20 odd even to start freezing.

Most other things are frozen but the 3 things I need are not, ever since 3 years ago I've done this and never stopped me in my tracks, don't need heater, for good measure I place a hot water bottle in the enclosed pump department just to keep it warm for a few hours.

This only takes place in the minus 1 or below.

Hope it will help any one out

That is all lol

Wouldn't bother pal, it will put ur resin through hell, or your ro
I got 3 quilts around my tanks as they are ro we fill through the night, got a heater in there to

May be missing something obvious but this looks... interesting.

I've got a 3200sq ft workshop which can accomodate 5 vans overnight  ;D

No frozen equipment
No defrosting windscreen

Still doesn't help when it's -6 outside like this morning and the water freezes on the glass at Wilko's before it has a chance to run off  :-\

Haha fair one, but in my defence that is true I do put quilts around my tanks but what I say with the reels is also true, on harsh days I take things inside my quilts are always around the tanks, they are there right now.

haha I'm glad you pick these points up perfect, it shows how interesting your life is lol

Still, both true though at end of day
