£400 for a heater that you might only use for 4 weeks of the year!!sorry but im not getting one!!then you have to buy propane for it?

oil filled radiators DO WORK!!ive had mine on overnight a few times when its been sub zero.van toasty and warm in the morning with no frozen pumps, water etc.also you dont have to defrost the windscreen!! :D :D
price higher/work harder!

I think with your van daz its a bit easier as its a smaller space

My tank and gear survived last night , left heater on 12-7

HOwever it wasnt hot in the back by any means , any colder and i think stuff wouldve froze anyway

And it wasnt that bad here last night -3 maybe at most

BUt i to am a bit put off by £400

Could get decent hot set up for that , with a fogwash or similar

sean leave it on  the full setting 9pm until 10 mins before you go to work.with a 2000w rad it should be nice and toasty.probably cost you £2 a night but worth it if it gets you out for 4-5 hours today!!

best wishes

My gear was freezing up night before last in not much below 0

Although it had been cold all day so i think that didnt help and water level was quite low as hadnt filled

Last night with rad it was ok

Not hot but not frozen , which is what counts , and i think last night was cooler than the previous

Sorry to hijack the thread but i couldnt recomend and immersion heater more, and for a franction of the price of one of these heaters gav, keeps van warm, reels and pump frost free and the water is warm coming thru pole, i cleaned my van at 4 o clock today and it was still warm to touch. Can get an immersion for less than £30, and cost of running about £1.50 a night.

Did you install yourself?

Was building a camper last year and looked at webasto heaters, but gave up on the idea as it involved tapping diesel tank.
