Chance of Regional Contract. Banks.. Need help
« on: February 01, 2012, 12:43:11 pm »
Hi Guys
I have been asked to quote for a regional contract to clean a chain of banks.
Mainly branches In/Out & the internal bank teller glass screens, customer side only (bandit screens) and several remote ATM machines in shops garages and the like.
Now some are weekly, some Fortnightly and some monthly.
I have never quoted for anything like this so lots of stuff springs to mind...
How to work it all out for a start. Costs, routes, days taken up...
Looked on google street view,  all looks straight forward for shop fronts, but I do know national contracts pay peanuts.
lots of travel involved,
How to quickly clean internal glass screens(bandit screens) blade is not option, needs a spray of some sort & cloth???
Lots of other stuff springs to mind but mind on overload at moment...
need lots of tips and advice of how to quote for this....

Please help if you can Guys, does anybody else have a contract similar?
Cheers
Goochie.

Dont know what they do now, but the ones we used to do before they went national were done before they opened and  without getting in customers way, the bandit screens etc were done trad..

Why is blade not an option? I've done hundreds of banks over the years and using a squeegee is your best bet by far unless you can get away with just scrimming them

my problem is I havn't got the time to get round every branch to see whats inside (bandit screens) wise, so I was just after advise as best way to clean them having never done any before.
Also I wont be able to do every branch whilst closed, before business opens etc as they are so spread out in some places so would have to do most internals whilst open for business, so I thought a spray may be less intrusive ??

I'd be very, very surprised if they let you near the bandit screens when open, certainly not behind the counter at least. Mind you some banks have done away with those screens so perhaps you will get those

c-thru if they are very spread out and and you dont have time to see them all, are you sure youre going to have time to clean them all? and also with them being spread out you sure youre going to be making enough money?
im not criticising, i just get the impression it could be vey stressful rushing arounf without much reward
