Thats quite a strong fact, I wouldnt offer the payment structure I do if I was a blagger..... I dont get paid unless it cleans on first clean then again on second clean. No point blagging cos I just wont get paid....

        I've just begun in my area-i select different roads and make a note of those who are not at home. I haven't got leaflets as i prefer a face to face approach. Actually the most common reply i receive is that there seem to be so many people canvassing for window cleaners!!! Many people say they have had several leaflets delivered and seen people face to face. I have tried many streets in different parts of the town as well. No customers yet!!!

George it wasnt a dig lets face it you only need them to stick 2 cleans when it takes a good 4-6 months to wean the crap out.I was a canvasser for years. Canvassing is having gift of the gab  end of!! Its talking your way into your target market using any means possibe that work if you say otherwise your even blagging yourself. You cant hand on heart say you and your canvassers dont say anything you can to get the job Hence why you must be canvassing for other people and not Building yourself up as if you was doing it for yourself you would be tredding more careful and only targetting you prefered market unlike hitting easy terrace and new build housing where its easy to get 250 of new work for an evenings canvas. You do make out your something else to be honest!! If you was bright you would have a mustard window cleaning business 3-5 vans out with regular repeat top priced quality work and not be canvassing for others for a poxy 2x doing unregular work.
Hopefully you will do well and i wish you all the best that you have work to tie you all year round canvassing without upsetting anybody as it takes just 1 to ruin your reputation ,fair play to you yours is spot on at the mo.

Hand on heart I only take on customers that I would have took on myself when I had my round. I have no need or desire to give people clients who are not looking for a regular cleaner, yes some will cancel but I am looking to build long term relationships and the work gained will overall allow for the cancellations.

The reason I dont have or want my own rounds is the hassle that comes with it, I am happy to earn my poxy two cleans and help people build their businesses while doing it.

The terms I do business with proves without any doubt that I try my best for everyone and I will always stand by that.

You have just made things a little clearer by telling me you are an ex canvasser...
