Ive been cleaning the fronts of this one house for last two months without any probs. However I was just doing last window today and this bloke pulls on the drive and asks me what I was doing on his property!!! I told him to talk to his wife and ask her. What a whally!!

happened to me few times. even same person forgets they've paid and sends cheque again.

I'd come clean every time. plus you never know if they are testing you. but either way, its always better to run a clean ship IMO.

i have 1 house where the hubby thinks the wife does the windows & i have to miss them out if the hubby's motor is there  when i asked how he thought she did tops cos they cant be done from inside she just laughed & said typical man dont notice

The best I've ever had was my old company used to have a big contract with Asda to do their groundfloor shop fronts weekly. One week we were getting the paperwork signed off when the customer service lass commented on how she thought she'd paid us the day before, although we got paperwork signed, not a payment.
The next week me and the lad I worked with (owners Son) decided to turn up a day early and sure enough there were two guys cleaning the windows. So we sat in the van and ate our breakfast then as they were finishing off and going to collect from the customer service desk we went round to the staff entrance and asked the lady at staff reception to sign for the windows.
The cleaning department had given us a contract for hundreds of stores while the store manager had arranged his own window cleaners. It went on for years and nobody except me and the bosses Son knew any different. Was funny watching 2 blokes do our work while we had breakfast every week.
