Hi i'd appreciate ga bit of advice on a blower driers I've been thinking about, the  TrutecTFV 10 S turbo fan . I was debaitng about buying 2 of these for around £100 each tp position around a room do you think they are up to the job or would i be better off with just one big unit?

                 Thanks Dave

Never heard of that model and can't find it online. Do you have a link then could advise a bit better.

 Found it ... Trotec  :)

It rated 5.9 amps which would be 1.5 HP motor , so its one of the more powerfull blowers with internal motor .
looks like a bargain at that price to me .

actually im looking at s30 ... s10 may be different , cant see it

http://www.trotec.de/en/product-catalog/machines/ventilation/radial-fans-in-the-tfv-s-series/turbo-blower/

Ok ... s10 is rated  1kw  and s30 is 1.5 kw

so s10 a little less powerfull ... but perhaps a little easier to carry , still good price .

Think its the little dinky model similar to what Drieaz used to sell. Found the airflow was quite narrow as opposed to the larger models where it fans out.

I have a van to carry mine so not really an issue.  ;)

Invest in 1.5hp, they have three settings normally. If you can't afford two, get one of each or another 1.5 later.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

The small dri-eaz  is a crazy low .25 hp or 200w ...
The s10 above is 1000w ... should be same as about the mid setting on the 1.5hp.
should still blow picture frames off at 20 feet .

Had a tiny dri-eaz , even though its a waste of money in some ways ... i grew to like it for the occasional job where u had to carry it in one hand a couple of hundred yds and then up 3 flights ..

sorry it was Trotec not Trutec, been reading the spec on this model its actually only .1 kW (100W) not much more than a light bulb ! so think i'll take your advice and invest in the larger unit. thanks for all comments.

You are right Dave, 100w is too low! Get the bigger one - thats a far better investment  ;)
