how much waste pipe, do you mean a row across the middle or more than that?

I have never done it myself but seen them done that way, you need enough to fill the tank so they are all wedged in. Works really well apparantly...

To be honest iv been out the last 2 days with my ibc filled with 800ltrs and no baffles.
After 5 mins I got used to the slight sway of the van and now I dont even notice it.

You are joking right ? sway in van, add speed when turning and your likely to go over on the side  :-\

if your not joking, you really should be having a word with yourself, it is dangerous, more so your putting other people in danger!

Simple Test for you to do tomorrow morning before you go out to work.

Call your insrurance company and ask if you will be insured, my guess is you will get a two letter answer, and just to give you a helping hand it will start with N. please post back if I am wrong here.

this is really bad advice for anyone reading this IMO
