Ladders stolen
« on: January 22, 2012, 08:23:59 pm »
Hello chaps.  Over the weekend ive had my ladders stolen from the top of my van in the heaton moor area of stockport.  i found the set of doubles about 100 metres down the road (im assuming it was some teenagers that got tired running with them) but the pointer is still missing.  Its your standard 6ft Ramsey pointer, so if anyone in the area/ ebay sees one for sale or gets approached, please let me know.  cheers chaps

Did you have them locked on ?
I once left my pointer against a wall 2 houses away , i actually watched this guy eyeing them up , so i shouted alright bud , gave him the message i think .
Hope you get them back , long shot though me thinks .

2 years with the ladders in a much rougher area left me lazy, and they were only on with bungee cord.  i know its my own fault but its another £90 i gotta spend.  cheers for the wishes

Keep mine locked all the time overnight. Mind you reminds me of a funny story. Was out cleaning when the dustman came round. When I came down off my ladder went to dip in my bucket and it had gone. Put 2 & 2 together ran after the dustcart and they had chucked my in my bucket water an alll. Would have thought the ladderneither me up it would have given it away but saw the funny side. Now I laugh when people moan that there dustman didn't take there bin coz they had put the wrong thing in it
