Hi Chris

There does seem to be a lot of equipment for sale which is 75% of the new value.

I wouldn't pay more than 50% for any secondhand equipemt and a lot less for anything over 2 years old.

Cheers

Personally I would have to say 30%. This is very high priced. Will never sell it for that. But stranger things do happen.

I agree sometimes when things go for 80% it's value you may as well buy new and get the years warranty.

It's worth about £1500 and that's a very good offer. Mind the engine new is £1500 iirc.

Yeah I'd say 1500 too.

The heat exchanges  may have froze whislt it's been stored thats 3k if both exchanges gone :o

Then you have to hope the blower and pumps ok.

You get about £50 for a Car with a dam good engine so why should you pay more for a rusty truckmount only fit for scrap

That is an old spit fire 4.00 and not looking in very condition...
without tanks hoses and spare or repairs and there are people that value it at £1500 :) :) :)
Will have to start dealing in second hand equipment!!!!!!!!!!
Buying a second hand machine like this, you would more than likely spend as much as buying a new package to get it working. It is just not worth considering! Unreliable machinery will destroy your reputation..

Machines like this can easily be brought back to good working order and back to its former glory however needs allot of work and parts sourcing. Personally I think this one is way to highly priced even for that.
