Good on you Malky
You can take time off when you want when you run your own business so should make hay when the sun shines, just dont forget to take that day off when you want it. We are taking the mondays off so 3 day weekends but working normally the rest of the time.

Nothing for me to do over christmas, as yet. But you never know what might turn up..
I shut shop so to speak on Friday and then not doing anything until monday, then i have only a full house to double gaze and thats me lot until New Year.
I take my hat off to you Malky, If I had the work, then I too would be working.
Merry Xmas to ya.

Fortunately (being in the commercial office cleaning sector) our Clients are all closed for xmas and new year  ;D ;D

I have had many years of working over Christmas so this is a welcome break for me.

Just a word of advice for those of you who are working...................if you're doing it yourself then fine...................but I wouldn't rely too heavily on staff turning up and working with you. I have had my fingers burnt oh! so many times in the past.

hi there

good morning everyone, and happy xmas eve,

well my teams came off our last site at 6.00pm last night, after me personally being on site for sixty hours straight through.

went stright to bed, and ive even done the xmas shopping this morning.

i have two teams out on the 29th and 30th,  but they all deserve a good break.

we did in the last 5 days more work than we did the whole of last december.

and already got three weeks booked in january so its all looking good.

regards

martin

Martin,

Your going to make yourself ill......Been there, got the t-shirt.
Few months down the line, you realise you have burnt yourself out, you don't have the energy that you had before.....and everybody that tells you your doing too much and to slow down were actually right. But it's too late then!!

Enjoy your sleep and when you wake up.....it will be next year.

Regards

Tim

tim,

fully recharged, and partied hard a few hours or so, looking forward to new years eve,

tim, read my other post.

i totally agree, with the burn out scenario, and am fully aware of that, this is why we are now quite choosy at the customers that we take on.

regards

martin
