Gregs Bakers
« on: January 20, 2012, 12:33:09 pm »
I.ve been contacted by Dynamiq cleaning asking if I want to take on some
 Gregs Bakers shops.
They have the national contract.
Shops to be cleaned weekly.Ins outs weekly, facias monthly
all for £5.40 a shop. early morning.
Obviously I wouldn,t take on the national contract
but I could take on a few.

What do think.

Got a number for this company. There's a greggs next door to a betting shop I do. I would do for this price as only a small shop!

£5.40 to subbie
£8.40 invoice to Gregs

£3 gross per job x lets say 150 shops

£450 gross per week x 52 weeks

£23400 per year for doing very little once contract in place ... ok u gotta pay some office bird to admin it all but this contract with a few more to spread her wages out .... mmmmm good business.

Think im gonna national  ;)

or am I over simplyfying it ?

^ a reasonable breakdown I reckon Ian.

However, you would need to times your figures by 10 as there are 1500 shops around the uk.

Somebody is getting rich from these jobs, but I don't think it's the windies.

Probably making £1.00 per shop if that

The higher you go the tighter the margins

Some cleaning companies offer to do the windows for free, to gain the cleaning contract

I'd rather roll out of bed at 8, start at 9 & do a bungalow for a tenner! ;)

I wish they'd phone me, they wouldn't phone back I can assure you! ::)

Our company used to clean a lot of the stores, £4.50 per store, think we had around 17 every week. We gave it up in the end it was not cost effective. I now see several different companies cleaning them.

Oddly we still get calls to the office asking if we can clean??
