im still traditional..........but only for around 20% of my work(mainly ground floor windows and doors).80% WFP.i dont understand how some of you guys only use wfp occasionally?i just find it easier and quicker to pole most jobs.

lots of trad cleaners about near me.hardly any use wfp.
price higher/work harder!

the reason for me doing it occasionally is the wfp work is not mine, and the equipment is not mine  ;)

Trad and wfp, IMO if you're a pro window cleaner you should have ALL the tools for the job  ;)

Well said! Im all trad at the moment, but going WFP in a few weeks to only get those awkward windows so im not restricted to certain jobs. I may even do all tops wfp bottome trad, im on a meter though so im going to monitor water usage when I do start wfp. I don't think I could convert fully to wfp as I enjoy cleaning windows the trad way too.

I agree. But then as a traddy, my overheads are much lower, so I don't need to make £40 per hour and have my profits eroded when wfp equipment breaks. I mean, how many tradders come on here and post plaintiff cries for help when their cloths or ladders wear out!  ;D

Not assuming anything. It is obvious that it costs more to get a wfp set up and run it. This has to be recouped before any profits are made, and from the many posts I have read on here, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that wfp operators have to earn more to pay for/maintain their kit. Not knocking it, its just that as a tradder I don't have the same overheads, therefore don't have to earn as much! I did look into the costs of going wfp and decided that it was not for me.
