I will soon be looking at getting a RO system to start WFP.
I have read a few times about getting a 40 40 unit, but what is it and what's the difference?
What sort of set up should I be getting. Plan to set up at home and transfer pure water to van.
Thanks.
it is the larger of ro units, it will enable you to produce water at a quicker rate, than that of a domestic 100/200 gpd ro unit this uses less waste than a merlin also.
100 GPD (gallon per day) against a 4040
is a little bit like having a mini and a ferrari one will poddle along the other will speed along but at the same time one costs more, but for good reason
Agree with everything that Lee just said apart from the softner that just wastes time and makes very little difference at all, I tested this as my water out of tap was about 400 tds out of tap, with and without softner made little different apart for the softner taking more time with messign about with it on every fill, using same 4040 membrane 3 years later and used everyday with no softner in very hard water area
