these are smallish shop fronts  id say worth £6 - £10 max but imagine parking etc etc west london into sw london

with traffic and parking i dont think ill price match im just gona go in hard end of the day more money in houses..

these shop fronts need a reality check they shouldn't have sacked the local guy cos im gona quote them £20 a shop.

You will probably get  window cleaners, on tube with just his bucket & small pole, and can do lots of shops in central london, easy to do, and get rest of the day off, and no parking, congestion charges.

i dont want the bloody things anyway    he actually understood how much they would save over the year so imagine if i get it i could be cheaper then the nationals they clean a shop for £4 a week thats thats £208 a year ill do it once in 4 months for £40 thats £120 a year lol.

The whole point is they are done regular though!

If they are close together £4 is do able

£44 in a hour easy for some shop fronts close to one another

and do able  early - late in any weather

Parking is an issue though

I got a £35 ticket doing 2 x £4.50 shops last month - gutted isn't even close!!

these r the problems mate,

ofc i could do it cheaper but its such a rat race to get a few in a row therefore cant be competitive

what's the point when i can knock of a couple of house fronts and get the same amount in lovely no parking problem areas where i dont need to invoice and wait for whoever it is to pay ...

in your dreams, pure water doesn't repel puke and kebab sauce, grit from the road or all manner of things that end up on shop windows, even inside shopping malls/centres, mine are 2x a week and even in the centre I was removing makeup from a window on the monday, I had just cleaned on the friday

When i checked the time on the ticket  it was only ten mins since,  if id of gone straight back to van id of been gone before mr jobsworth got me

Last week i had another one stood over the road trying to book me inconspicuously whilst i was cleaning a shop front and stood right next to van i spotted him and finshed quick and  just jumped in and drove off while he was half way through it - he looked gutted

We get a ticket every single month whilst cleaning council offices; that's right, we're cleaning council offices, a five story office block, and their little poxy car with it's little poxy camera on the roof takes a pic of us and sends us a ticket.

We always appeal and always win, just seems a total waste of our time.

I did tell them that we'd put the price up to allow for the ticket

There is a camera van where i work,was gutted to see it go past my van while i was parked on double yellows,was only when i was reeling the hose in it clicked that the number plate is on the door which faces the path so he couldn't have got it!!! 
Always make sure i 'obscure' the front number plate too with a warning sign when parked on yellows!

I had a traffic warden come over to my van, whilst working on a wilkinsons shop. He told me he 'couldn't give me a ticket because using hoses from the parked vehicle'. You should be fine if you need your vehicle to do the job!!
