I am assuming you would have to cut of the metal threaded section on the tip of the pole and fit to the pole?

Hi Bob,

I've seen them on a few Harris poles.  With the new Mk3 you would need to cut off the metal end and glue in a new 'hose through' type end screw.  The Mk3 has an female screw thread for standard 'German Thread' tips.

Not sure whether pulling on the hose would cause the harris clamps to wear more quickly(?)

Hi Bob,

Thanks, will check this eve.

We do a hose through end screw, on the website it's called 'Aluminium Pole End Screw Type1'.

I'm not sure what the ID of the top section of a harris pole is?  The shaft on the end screw is approx 19mm diameter.

This is supplied if you choose 'Quick-Release Clamp' for pole connection, which will then give you the total price.
