I would think GD is about right there, from what the guys say it can take a while to fully clean years of cleaning fluid etc off the glass, if the first clean was worse and the second one slightly better it does point to them needing a few more go's to come good.

most of mine came good first time. but I gave plenty of rinsing....

didn't give customers choice, most would prefer traditional, even tho no complaints with system. just as you say don't like change.

I made it clear any probs and I would fix no probs for free, to make sure good job still done for them.

brian do you have a backpack, if so, next time add some ecover washing up liquid to the water, try it, bet their will be   no more spotting, dont worry, it leaves no residue or smears, cleans 50% better with pure water, just rinse well,

Hello, sorry to ask-but is adding ecover common practice for pure water operators? What does it do to your Tds readings? Surely it's just getting customers over the change and a bit of education and you got the whole first clean scenario too?

from my experience white spots on glass are usually from dodgy rubber seals at the top of frames or the actual frame itself being slightly oxidised.try wetting your finger and rubbing it over the top frame.if you have a white finger you ve got your answer.

i personally never use anything other than pure water on the glass when using the water fed pole method then i know that any spots are not a result of detergent residues.

if the frames are oxidised i miss the top frame out altogether and im careful when rinsing(glass only).if the windows are ground floor ones then i go over top frame with a cloth if their dirty.
price higher/work harder!
