How to power ro booster pump? New
« on: January 13, 2012, 10:46:16 pm »
Hi, ordering an ro (100 gallon per day with integral booster pump) from John Hewitt on Monday. I read that the booster pumps ( I have low water pressure) are 36v which got me to wondering how the experienced wfp's power their ro systems. Do you run off a battery and recharge or are they run off mains 240 with some sort of transformer or do you use 240v pump? If transformer, what sort do you use? Any info on supplier and price etc would be helpful. I only need 100 lts of water a day. Thanks

get a decent 240v pump - these are capable of running 24/7 if required

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
