Email Campaign...
« on: January 13, 2012, 02:06:11 pm »
Afternoon guys i usually frequent the window cleaning bit hence why theres no posts from myself in this section however ,

one of my business aqquantaces runs a call centre in Wales and were lookiing to expand into the cleaning industry , im thinking of kicking this off firstly by testing the water with an email campaign , we have the software and are finalizing the designs and information .

we've approximatley 1million email adresses on the system covering the UK although  we can narrow it down to demographic specifics ie postcode/area.

Would this be beneficial to you ?

It would work the same as canvassing door knocking wise as all the information is provided within the email. The email campaign also gives us the change to propose to businesses for commercial work.

The email campaign can also be run in conjunction with our call centre prices start from £10 per hour

If you think this'd be beneficial to you can you leave a contact number or drop us an email please.

Thanks Rich.

Hi Rich. From my understanding you have to be very careful doing unsolicited email campaigns.
It is spamming and you could end up losing your email address.
I would like to be wrong about this.

They would have to contact the customer introducing your services to them, then they can 'opt in' to your list if they want.

However I get so much cross marketing email I suspect nobody takes much notice because UK quangos are too busy drinking tea and biscuits to do anything.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

All the people have opted to be contacted via email...

On Monday were checking to see if we can cross referance the email adress's with the postcodes so we can build up a good demographic and have a few cleaners per postcode...

That's geographics!  Interesting point, because demographics is really what you need.  No good trying to sell gucci handbags to dole blaggers, nor is it any good trying to sell slight seconds from primark to owners of a £1m property :)

If you send me 100 addresses by postcode from NN14 up to NN18 I'll send them back to you telling you exactly how pikey or not pikey each address is ;)

But how do you know this from email addresses?  Surely you must know the postal address too, to be able to filter the list geographically?  There would be infinitely more value in selling the postal addresses.

Your website is a dead link.  You haven't provided an email to contact so how can anyone reply?

Sounds like you're scamming :)

I've no website for this at the mo . My contact number Is 07896102652

Were checking on.Monday to see if we cam cross referance the email accounts with the adresses and postcodes ...

You won't be paying for anything until there's work .

The £10 per hour bit is for the call centre be it commercial or domestic buy personally I think it'd be a waste of time cold calling domestic.

All the email adresses have opt ed to be contacted by us in future so its all above board.

Yeah, by you, not by another company they have never heard of.

There's usually a 'contact by us and selected partners' option which is selected by default.
