new product from brodex - Anyone heard
« on: January 12, 2012, 05:12:38 pm »
Hey guys.
Had an email from brodex today advising me about a new water tank 350 ltres which will change the way window cleaners work. It claims it is a new ecostat 350 which requires: {This is a quote from their email:}

No Resin Costs · No Replacement Membranes · No Filter Replacement · No Waste Water · No monitoring TDS · ….No worries…

What are the benefits of the Ecostat 350 v’s DI and RO Systems?
• No resin costs – save £100’s
• No membrane fouling/ replacements – save £100’s
• No filter replacement – save £’s
• No waste water created – save £100’s
• Can be fitted in smaller vans even though it has a massive capacity due to very
quick fill times (It can be topped up on-site, at a garage or using a standpipe)
• Not necessary to monitor TDS level
This is a revolutionary new concept in the pure water window cleaning industry that eliminates most of the limitations that inherently come with RO or DI systems.
The system only requires an hour regenerating with an average cost of £2 – 4 per week. The simplicity of the machine sets it ahead of all the industry standard systems.
System Comparison Chart
Whilst the demin only systems show similarities they are only really suitable for low TDS water areas (soft), otherwise the resin costs are prohibitive. The Ecostat eliminates this problem as you can use it across the range of TDS we experience in all parts of the country.

mmmmm will be really interesting if its true - I wonder how it works???????

I guess it could be good, but then if it goes tits up, or you need any after sales, we will be refitting our old tanks.

Sounds interesting - but when does it "need refurbishing"? 6 months - a year? Longer? And how much does it cost when it does?
It's a game of three halves!
