do you know you can have nitrogen inflated in to your tyres,free of charge at COSTCO
With nitrogen being a inert gas it does not respond to temperature rises or falls and will keep your tyres at the required psi for the life of the tyre, assuming there is no blow outs,leaks etc,this means your tyres don't loose shape,will wear out more evenly and you will probably get better mileage.
also the AA do it but charge about £7.00 for a full set of tyres

Google "advantages of nitrogen filled tyres" and go to the AA answer for a sensible view as to why it is has little or no advantage for normal usage.

Air is 78% Nitrogen anyway.

There are good reasons why aircraft use them - they fly in minus 40 C and any moisture that ices up inside the tyre might cause imbalance on landing if it hasn't melted. But even they can use dried compressed air if it's available.

To gain minimal advantage you would have to have your tyres deflated before filling and you would need to top up with nitrogen.

that's what they do,deflate your tyres fill up with nitrogen and with the ats you can have free top ups
i ran my first van on nitrogen(2nd year) and you could tell the difference in tyre wear and handling was much better than the first year

the reason it handled better was because it was lighter as you stopped taking your wallet out with you
