I bought a round the middle of last year which was done trad, i switched it to wfp from day one out of the 80 houses i think i lost 5 in total, 4 of them didn't want to even give it ago wfp, and the other one had 2 cleans then sent me a letter saying they were not happy with the way in which the windows were cleaned and cancelled (windows were upvc and came up spotless!)

I payed 3x on a grand.

are you happy with the price.???? its just over 4x try him at £2500 invoiced and £2k cash.

wfp will cut your work times so bear this in mind also
lose 10% and you got £1080 on your books .

compact = 4 pr hr ish at £6/7 call it £26 per hr.

not to be sniffed at m8 unless you are gonna employ to do it , then its a different kettle of fish altogether

i;ve been told that you should expect to loose up to half if you buy someone's trad round and switch to WFP.  of course you may not loose that much, but you might.

No I wont be employing its for me and local to where I live, yea the way I'm sort of looking at it is that any business that u can recoup your investment in 4-5 months can't be to bad,how do you check that the round is all tht they say it is

work the round for 1 clean and insist on it.

can you incorperate 1200 into your round = 4 pr hr divide by 200 = 50 hrs a month ( at best )

a round is only worth anything if it fits in/around your existing work.
£1200 a mth is fine if you can do it but employ to do it  and its a massive difference. if you might need to employ to do it ,FORGET IT

NI / EMPLOYERS LIABILITY INS / RELIABILITY / HOLIDAYS / PATERNITY / LOST CUSTIES BECAUSE ONLY YOU CLEAN IT PROPERLY. THE LISTS ENDLESS REALLY

THE ONLY SURE FIRE WAY TO UPP YOUR MTHLY INCOME IS TO CANVASS.  you are the best judge for your business.

It's only worth it if you think it is to you.

We've bought in the past and paid 50% after seeing the round and the balance of what was still with us after 2 months.

If you already have a round how are his prices compared to yours?  If you need to put everyones prices up to match yours then theres a good chance you'll lose a few.

What's the competition like? are they wfp or ladders, also what's their prices like.

Why's he selling?  If he's had enough and just wants out then offer him a lower price for his book.

Ive bought a couple of rounds, lost 1 or 2 customers, and that was because we increased prices after a few months as they were far too low.  I paid 3 times round value.

Havent worked out the figures, but be good to know why he is selling up, if its all legitimate.  And working the round once would be good, i did it for free labour (knocked it off the amount to be paid) so you get to see its all good.

When we converted our round of 6 years to wfp we lost another 6......drop in ocean really!

dont rush into anything, go into it with your eyes open.  And if you dont know the guy, then be careful!  sadly there is a lot of scammers around.
